Which bass guitar should I get, a Pete Wentz Squier or Epiphone?

I am a guitarist, and I am interested in playing bass, but I was wondering which one is worth my money, the Pete Wentz Signature bass guitar, or an Epiphone bass guitar? Also my band plays in the genre of Punk, Post-Hardcore, and Rock.

DONT do the Pete Wentz one.... I played it at guitar center, just to try EVERYTHING they had (tried squier through american made...its what I do with my time)...and it is not the guitar for anyone who is acutally interested in playing...Often times Epiphone
